We've got an open seat for a senior product designer to help us level up our existing products and build new ones. Your seat may be in your home office, on your sofa, on the beach, a ski lift...wherever life takes you. We do important work here at Planswell, but life outside of work is important too. About the Position

As the Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with our product and marketing team to design products to enhance the consumer and advisor experience. You will drive the evolution of the product experience for Planswell's entire product suite across multiple devices, with the ultimate goal to 10x our conversion metrics. You will provide design direction to internal stakeholders, conduct and facilitate UI/UX research, and work with design standards and processes to drive conversion and retention for our users. With a strategic and customer-centric mindset, you will monitor/review product feedback data to refine designs on the fly and for longer-term projects.

Status: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Wherever! Our entire company is fully remote
Reports to: Scott Wetton, COO
Advancement path: Director of Design
Other Responsibilities
Engage with teammates on video via Slack, Zoom, and Google Meetings
Attend in-person retreats quarterly in exciting destinations (Cruise to the Caribbean with us?)
Attend 1:1, small-group meetings and company-wide standups

Qualifications Must-Haves:

3+ years of experience in building and designing a product for financial advisors and/or 3+ years experience building/designing consumer finance-related applications
Proficient with design software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Passion for financial services/managing personal finances
Experience working with product managers, developers, QA/QC and agile-type development processes
Like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain
A passport-we have a blast traveling together

Nice-to-Haves:

A portfolio of work that demonstrates your understanding of design and product thinking
Experience managing a team
Understanding of data analytic tools for UI/UX
Working knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and React
Experience working at a start-up

Compensation & Benefits Negotiable; $90K - $130K CAD + equity
